Who are the Danbury Young Democrats anyways? 

Oh, hey there! Glad you asked - here's the scoop. 

We're a group of young and involved folxs who are all about making a difference. Founded in 2021 by Ryan Hawley, Joe Britton, Natali Mago, and Olga Mejia, our mission is simple: to boost the political engagement of Democrats aged 18-36 in our amazing community.

Here's the deal: we know that our generation holds incredible power and potential, and we want to harness that energy to shape the future we want to see. That's why we're an official chapter of the Young Democrats of Connecticut (CTYD) and proudly part of the National Young Democrats of America (YDA)  family. We're all about teamwork, collaboration, and making sure our voices are heard on a local, state, and national level. But don't worry - we run our own chapter - dare we say we have "local control" *cringes*. 

Anyways, what's our game plan? We're here to empower YOU, fellow young Democrats in Danbury, by providing the tools, resources, and opportunities you need to rock the political scene. From educational workshops to community outreach programs, voter registration drives, and volunteering initiatives, we're all about making politics engaging, accessible, and, dare we say it, fun!
