University of Bonn & University of Potsdam · Jan. 2026 – present
Together with a small group, I co-founded Logic & Metaphysics – a format dedicated to exploring the relationship between logic and metaphysical inquiry, and the question of whether that relationship runs in both directions.
Our first two conferences take place this summer:
Metaphysics of Logic on 7–8 August 2026 at the University of Bonn, with keynote speakers Elke Brendel, Gillian Russell, and Ole Thomassen Hjortland.
Logic of Metaphysics on 25–26 September 2026 at the University of Potsdam, with Frederique Janssen-Lauret, Naomi Thompson, and Alice van't Hoff.
Across both events, I serve as organiser, host, and chair.

The Lagrange Group is a student initiative I founded around a simple observation: that SETI and METI raise deeply philosophical questions, and that students working on those questions had nowhere to find each other — without navigating conferences built for established researchers. The group exists to change that: bringing together bachelor's, master's, and pre-doc students who share an interest in approaching these debates philosophically, in a setting that's actually made for them. A space to exchange ideas, collaborate, and build something that feels like a real community.
The goal is connection as much as it is scholarship.

An idea I am currently developing, is a colloquium that brings together students and professionals working in analytic philosophy of religion, with the goal of making this rich and often underappreciated field more accessible and fostering genuine exchange across different levels of expertise. Rather than the classic talk-then-discussion format, the idea is something more immersive: short impulse talks, preparatory readings circulated in advance, and enough unstructured time to actually go deep into the debates.
