Logic & Metaphysics

Together with a small group, I co-founded Logic & Metaphysics – a format dedicated to exploring the relationship between logic and metaphysical inquiry, and the question of whether that relationship runs in both directions. 

Our first two conferences take place this summer: 

Metaphysics of Logic on 7–8 August 2026 at the University of Bonn, with keynote speakers Elke Brendel, Gillian Russell, and Ole Thomassen Hjortland.

Logic of Metaphysics on 25–26 September 2026 at the University of Potsdam, with Frederique Janssen-Lauret, Naomi Thompson, and Alice van't Hoff. 

Across both events, I serve as organiser, host, and chair.

Reading Circle: Materialist Queer Feminism 

University of Bonn · Aug. 2026 

A reading circle dedicated to Materialistischer Queerfeminismus (ed. Friederike Beier, Unrast) – a collection bringing together materialist theories of gender, queer sexuality, and feminism under capitalism. The sessions offer a space to read closely, discuss carefully, and think through the intersections of materialist analysis and queer theory together.

Reading Circle: Analytical Philosophy 

University of Bonn · Apr. 2026 - present

A reading circle co-organised with Timo Selting, working through texts from the analytic tradition across a range of areas – truth, philosophy of religion, social epistemology, philosophy of language, ethics, philosophy of film, philosophy of mind etc.

The idea is simple: to read carefully, across topics, discuss and explore the analytic tradition in its full breadth.
