The following behaviors are violations of our communities’ safety & conduct and are not tolerated:
Harassment - Unwanted behavior that makes someone feel unsafe, disrespected, or uncomfortable. This includes ignoring boundaries, invasive comments, or repeated unwanted attention.
Bullying, Intimidation, or Stalking - Actions meant to control, isolate, humiliate, or create fear—whether in person or online.
Discrimination or Exclusion - Unfair treatment or exclusion based on identity, appearance, race, gender, age, disability, skill level, or background.
Disrespectful Language - Use of slurs, mockery, degrading jokes, or offensive language—whether verbal, written, or digital.
Emotional or Psychological Harm - Manipulation, gaslighting, coercion, public shaming, or repeated boundary violations that cause distress or harm.
Unwanted Sexual Attention - Non-consensual touching, comments, gestures, or any sexually suggestive behavior—online or in person.
Violence or Aggression - Any form of physical assault, threats, or hostile behavior.
Theft or Property Damage – Taking or damaging someone else’s belongings, including tampering with personal items.
Unsafe Dance Practices - Reckless or overly forceful dancing that puts others at risk of injury or ignores partner safety and consent.
Community staff and organizers reserve the right to address any safety violations at their discretion. This may include, but is not limited to, removal from the event without a refund and/or being barred from future events. They also reserve the right to refuse admission to any event for any reason.
