The body of the Arabic coffee pot is broader in the middle, tapering off towards the center, and gently flaring out at the top, where the hinged cover rests. The lid, which is completely enclosed and hollow, is frequently made up of two pieces: the lid itself and a finial fastened to the top.
The spout starts in the middle of the lid, like a miniature crescent moon, and extends to the height of the lid's base or higher. Sometimes a hinged flap covers the protruding part's head. However, it is frequently left open so that the user can observe the coffee being poured into the cups. The handle is frequently curved and located opposite the spout. It runs from the bottom to the rim and serves as a support for the lid's hinge.
Copper, brass, tin, and silver were used to manufacture the pot. Other metals, including gold and, more recently, plastic, have also been utilized.[1]
