the word "Dallah" was not found in early Arabic dictionaries, but it was derived from the word "Dalwa," which means "bucket" in the language of the Levant people, and the pot we used to prapre coffee is called "Rakwa" on the Arabian Peninsula.
however, because Dallah was first made in the Levant, the people of Damascus called it "Dalwa," and subsequently "Dallah" became recognized by its current name.[1]
This webpage is part of my ENGL101 assessment for the Fall 2022 semester at Khalifa University of Science and Technology with Dr. Sevket Oral. On this page, I will be highlighting an intriguing "Dellah".
