​South Dakota Society of Technology in Education (SDSTE)

Madison, SD – Mid Fall

Hosted in Madison's Dakota Prairie Playhouse, this conference usually has about 100 attendees consisting of tech coordinators, tech integrationists, and computer science teachers.

Southwest West Central Service Coop (SWWC) - IT2 Conference

Pipestone or Redwood Falls, MN – Mid Spring

This large Minnesota conference draws in about 300-400 attendees every year. It is a popular choice for K-12 teachers.

Nebraska Educational Technology Association (NETA)

Omaha, NE – Mid Spring

This large Nebraksa conference located in Omaha is attended by 1000-2000 K-12 teachers from Nebraska and Iowa.

Technology & Innovation in Education (TIE)

Sioux Falls, SD or Rapid City, SD – Late Spring

This conference rotates locations between Sioux Falls and Rapid City (in 2021, it is a virtual conference). TIE is the largest SD ed tech conference, and arguably even the largest SD teacher conference in general. It boasts around 1000 attendees annually.

International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)

Rotates location – Summer

This massive conference estimates 5000-7000 annual attendees. It is the largest national ed tech conference for K-12 teachers. The location of the conference rotates through US cities. In 2021, it is online.
