About DailyProgress
DailyProgress is a productivity app that helps users plan daily goals, complete them within defined time windows, and track their progress.
The app is designed to be privacy-friendly and data-minimizing. Goals, progress, streaks, and settings are generally stored locally on the user’s device, unless stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy.
Data Processed by the App
When using DailyProgress, the following data may be processed:
a) Local App Data
This may include:
goals created by the user
completed and uncompleted goals
progress data
streaks and statistics
Focus Window and Planning Window settings
notification settings
Pro status information inside the app
This data is generally stored locally on the user’s device.
b) Purchase and Subscription Data
DailyProgress offers optional paid Pro features through Apple In-App Purchases, including subscriptions and a lifetime purchase.
Payments are processed by Apple. DailyProgress does not process payment details such as credit card numbers.
Through Apple StoreKit, DailyProgress may receive technical information about whether a purchase, subscription, or entitlement is active. This is used only to unlock Pro features inside the app.
c) Notifications
If users enable notifications, DailyProgress may process local information on the device to schedule reminders. Notifications can be disabled at any time in the iOS settings.
d) Technical Data
Apple may process technical data related to app downloads, purchases, crash reports, device information, or App Store services. DailyProgress has limited influence over data processed directly by Apple.
Purposes of Processing
Data is processed for the following purposes:
providing the app and its core features
saving and displaying goals and progress
calculating progress, streaks, and statistics
managing Pro features
verifying active purchases and subscriptions
providing local notifications
improving app stability and functionality
Legal Bases
Where applicable, data processing is based on the following legal bases under the GDPR:
Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, especially for providing the app and Pro features
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR: consent, especially for optional notifications
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: legitimate interests in providing a secure, stable, and functional app
Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR: compliance with legal obligations, where applicable
Storage and Deletion
Local app data remains stored on the user’s device as long as the app is installed or until the user deletes the data, where such functionality is available.
When the app is deleted, locally stored app data is usually removed from the device.
Purchase and subscription information is processed by Apple according to Apple’s own terms, privacy policies, and legal retention obligations.
Sharing of Data
DailyProgress does not sell personal data.
Data may be shared only where necessary, for example:
with Apple for App Store purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and related services
where required by law
where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
DailyProgress offers optional Pro features through Apple In-App Purchases.
All payments, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple. Apple’s own terms and privacy policies apply to these transactions.
Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through their Apple ID or App Store account settings.
Notifications
DailyProgress may use local notifications if the user enables them. These notifications are used to remind users of goals, planning times, or focus windows.
Notification permissions can be changed or withdrawn at any time in the iOS settings.
No Advertising Tracking
DailyProgress does not currently use advertising tracking and does not sell user data.
If analytics, tracking, or advertising services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly and, where required, user consent will be requested.

Children
