Jing Dai is a recognized leader and award-winning Chinese teacher at Meade High School in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. She is a strong advocate for multilingualism， and believes that learning another language does allow us to describe more of our life and it gives us far more opportunities and perspectives on the world. Jing is a collaborative, student-centered, creative problem-solver and she develops language skills in fun, engaging, and authentic ways. Jing creates strong relationships with her students and families and provides intensive academic support and promotes social-emotional well-being.

In honor of Jing's work on promoting cultural proficiency for equity and inclusion, she was selected Anne Arundel County Public Schools Teacher of the Year, Maryland Teacher of the Year Finalist and Washington Post Teacher of the Year Finalist.
