A teacher first,
and still a teacher —
even while building tools for classrooms like mine.
Built for teachers, by a teacher.

I built Da•hand•in not as a CEO, but as a classroom teacher who needed it too.
Like many teachers, I was tired.
Tired of chasing down submissions, juggling endless tabs, trying to figure out who needed help — and who was just quiet.
During the pandemic, the distance between us and our students felt wider than ever.
I needed something to bring us back together —
a way to see their work, respond with heart, and remind them:
"I see you. I hear you. You're growing."
So I began building.
Not as a developer, but as a teacher who cared.
Da•hand•in wasn’t born out of tech ambition.
It came from a messy desk, late nights, and a heart full of students I didn’t want to lose track of.
Today, over 60,000 teachers and 1.13 million students use the platform in Korea.
But honestly?
We still build like it’s day one —
with chalk on our hands and students on our minds.
From one teacher to another — this is for you.
Let’s make room for what matters again.

Sketched between lessons — when I needed a better way to follow up with my students.
Da•hand•in was born from a real classroom, with real needs
