VISION-MISSION-QUALITY OBJECTIVES

Sustainable management of soil resources through offered soils laboratory services for agricultural production systems that are in harmony with nature where food is health-safe and food resource production is economically viable and socially acceptable.

To provide Soils Laboratory Services that will ensure the attainment of vibrant rural areas characterized by a sustainable agriculture and fishery productivity and institutionalize the judicious use of the base soil resources of the country.

Regional Soils Laboratory are:

1. To consistently provide customers with accurate and timely results by: (a) Releasing of test reports according to agreed time in - 90% of the requests we receive – Chemistry Unit; and 95 % of the requests we receive – Other Soils Laboratory Services e.i Soil Geotagging, Georeferencing & Fertility Mapping, Legume Inoculant, Bio-N and Mushroom Spawn Production; and (b) Obtaining acceptable results in 90% of accredited parameters in Proficiency Testing Programs participated;

2. Provide customers with quality service by obtaining feedback score of ≥4 in 95% of respondents;

3. Sustain and continuously improve the system of control to ensure the practice of impartiality;

4. To accredit the PNS ISO/ IEC 17025:2017 practices in all testing activities by limiting external audit nonconforming works by 2025; and

5. Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
