Clean California projects are part of a statewide initiative to create transformative beautification along the state highway system.  This project in Hollister includes planting and irrigation along the urban section of the highway, as well as a large sculpture representative of local, indigenous basketweaving. Motorists and pedestrians alike can enjoy several city blocks of highway beautification.
