Hello and welcome!!!!
I hope you aren't feeling too stressed about life and what life is throwing at you. I am here to help guide and provide support and resources for you! I am no stranger to the diverse mental and physical abilities out there.
If you or a loved one is diagnosed with a special need I would love to try and help keep your life as simple as can be.
I worked in a special education classroom from 2017-2022; I've worked with kids from Early Childhood (Pre K) through 5th grade.
I received my masters from Grand Canyon University in 2022, along with my teaching certificate for the state of AZ. I left the school system after I was concussed by a student.
Special needs doesn't always show itself like those who are wheelchair bound, have Parkinson's, or have Down Syndrome. Some special needs shows itself in poor memory, poor impulse control, poor/no social skills, and poor/little basic self care.
How have I implemented this knowledge in every day life?
I've helped create social stories for my nieces when my sister and her family flew over seas.
I've organized students to write letters to their teachers. (students who have the ability to write, fine motor skills, but still needs help with spelling, sentences, and ideas)
I've collected fidgets and provided knowledge to others on how a fidget is to be used and which fidget could be useful (fidgets are supposed to help us not distract us)
I have provided insight on putting a child into a hold (safety precautions, reasoning, timing, correct posture)
I use simple sign language to express thanks, completion, ABC's, and simple commands (example: no, more, yes, sit, stand, play).
Painted a message for my niece and teacher friend.
How can I help you?
Learn simple sign language that can be used for babies-adults. Sometimes someone may find saying thank you or please through sign language is easier than forming the words to say it, especially in an elevated mental moment.
I can do weekly meetings/social games, if you think your child/children/adult needs assistance in social settings.
Weekly meeting of yoga/meditation/self care 🧘♂️
I can paint inspirational/affirmational messages 🎨
I can go on outings with you, like six flags 🎢, parks 🛝, museums 🖼️
🫣😂
Heads Up: I have been told that I was too beautiful to work with an 17 year old autistic male. He felt that way and was not comfortable with me. So, please be aware that people with special needs still have hormones, and may have sexual urges, like any one else.
