I am an economist specializing in FinTech, Blockchain, and banking competition.
I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Jean Monnet University and the University of Lyon (France), and I am affiliated with GATE Lyon-Saint-Etienne. I am currently a Teaching and Research Fellow (ATER) at the Saint-Etienne School of Economics.
My research examines how financial innovation, particularly FinTech, Blockchain, and decentralized organizations reshape banking markets, governance structures, and trust in financial networks. I study these issues through the lenses of industrial organization, transaction cost economics, and empirical analysis.
A distinctive feature of my work is its strong link to practice. My doctoral research was conducted under a CIFRE contract and funded jointly by FinTech companies (Shine, Prismea) and the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Drawing on my professional experience in both traditional banking (CIC Lyonnaise de Banque) and FinTech firms, my research is grounded in a practical understanding of how financial innovation challenges existing banking models.
I was a Visiting Ph.D. Student at the Comillas University of Madrid, where I conducted research in the ICADE department and at the Blockchain Applied to Public Administrations and Enterprises group (BAES).
I completed M.A. in Money, Banking, Finance and Insurance at the IAE of Saint-Etienne.
