We are so glad you have chosen to enter the world of Scouting through Pack 676. You and your child will be so happy you did. We aim to provide our Scouts with an exciting program filled with learning and fun for the whole family. We, the parents and leaders of Pack 676, promise to “do our best” in developing a Scout’s self-confidence, influence their character development, teach respect of others, and model good citizenship.
With your help, Scouting will be an rewarding experience for you, your child, your family, and the Pack. We’re glad you’ve joined us! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Scouts are placed in small group or Dens by age/grade and meet throughout the month. Our Den meetings typically are held at the Morris Elementary campus on Friday evenings at 6:30pm, but they may be held elsewhere at a time agreed upon by other members in the Den and their Leader. The third Friday of the month is reserved for the Pack meeting where all the Dens and family members gather together. Our Pack also schedules Pack Outings which are field trips where the whole family is encouraged to participate with their Scout. While optional, some outings offer rank advancement opportunities too.
Pack 676 runs year-round, though our core program takes place during the Cypress School District school year (typically from August through May). Typically, Den meetings are put on hold during summer break though the Pack will continue to meet once a month.
