The Cypress Improvement Association (CIA) is an umbrella organization for all the houses and developments off of Cypress Creek Road in Severna Park, Maryland and consists of volunteers from the Cypress Creek area communities.

All property, including but not limited to, those subdivisions located on the east side of Ritchie Highway for which ingress and egress is limited solely by way of Cypress Creek Road, and is commonly referred to as the Community of Cypress Creek.
