Shanghai, China

Since the 90s, Shanghai has transformed into today's megacity, which has been a construction site for all these years. Memories of my hometown become fonder not only because of the diverse international cultures, but more about the good time I had as a child playing with my buddies in the Shikumen (traditional Shanghai residential homes). In Oct 2016, I went back and took pictures of the last remaining old Shikumen buildings that were being demolished, which no longer exist today.

Before I embarked the journey of being a professional photographer, Brazil was one of the most fascinating places that inspired me to take better images. Paraty holds a special place in my heart for its beauty of old time.
