Cycle Sport South Hams Kit Vouchers For 2026
Purpose
To encourage active participation, promote the visibility of CSSH through our club kit, and reward members who contribute to the club’s riding, racing, and event activities.
Proposal
First Claim Members of CSSH (as determined by their British Cycling membership) will be eligible to receive a £55 Kalas voucher to purchase CSSH club cycling kit.
Timing
Vouchers will be issued in late 2025 or early 2026 to allow members to purchase kit ahead of the 2026 season. Eligibility will be based on members’ commitment to complete one of the qualifying criteria during the 2026 calendar year. As it is not practical to verify all participation in advance, the scheme will rely on the honesty and goodwill of members to meet their chosen criteria.
Qualifying Criteria for 2026
Members must complete at least one of the following during 2026 to remain eligible for the voucher:
1. Join a minimum of 6 CSSH club rides (on distinct dates).
2. Ride at least 5 races wearing CSSH club kit.
3. Help out at a racing event organised by CSSH.
Definition of a CSSH Club Ride
- Organised at least one week in advance.
- Open to all members.
Note: "Open to all" means the ride is not private or invite-only. It does not imply that every ride must be suitable for all abilities; riders should check the advertised terrain, distance, and speed to ensure it suits them.
- Advertised via the CSSH Strava Group and/or Chasing Watts Hub.
- Starting location to be within a 10 km radius of Kingsbridge.
Types of Races That Qualify
The following types of event organised under the regulations of British Cycling, British Triathlon, Cycling Time Trials or TLI Cycling
Cyclocross
Duathlons
Mountain Bike Races
Road or Circuit Races
Time Trials
Triathlons
Verification
Participation may be informally verified via Strava activity, race results, or confirmation from event organisers, but the club will primarily operate on a trust basis.
Review
The committee will review the voucher amount and qualifying criteria annually to ensure the scheme remains fair, sustainable, and aligned with club goals.
