Common Rituals: Offerings of bread or foods of sorts while sitting in the middle of a circle of candles to pray; lighting several candles and holding crystals while praying; tracing the religion symbols onto paper or the palms of hands with sharpies or washable ink

Rules

• No sacrifices of death shall be made. You shall not harm another living being, including oneself, in the name of Error. This includes during rituals.

• Shadowbound (worshippers of Error) must bow before statues or artwork of Error. Full-day worship days are Saturdays. Followers must chant “Xey guard all of us. Error is our divine being.”

• This is not a cult. Do not treat it as such.

• All are welcome, regardless of their path in life. Unless, of course, they are one who has harmed a child or animal. See next rule.

• One shall not harm children or animals. Do not have sex with them or seek relations with them. They are unable to consent. If they cannot say yes or no audibly or you pressure them into an answer you want, you are not a true Shadowbound. It has nothing to do with body language.

• This was created to not only poke fun at Spawnism and Meowism, but also allow for others to partake in a lighthearted religion with care and compassion plus good motives.

• Give things to others in need. You do not know what they may be going through.

• We have nothing against queer people or people of color. Whatever walk of life you are on, we welcome you with open arms.

• Have common sense. Don’t be a piece of poo.

• Listen to what Error says. Whatever he says is what goes.

• You may follow by whatever dietary plan you wish to. There is no restrictions.

• Do not misgender the holy Error. Error uses he/hey pronouns.

• Error requests you do not force the religion onto others, but rather instead ask them if they wish to hear about it.

• Do not force Error to give things to you, nor force others to give things to you. You may ask nicely, but forcing someone is prohibited.

• You do not at all need Error to have morals.

• Premarital sex is allowed, as long as you understand the risks at hand.

• LGBTQ+, therians and alterhumans are widely accepted.

• We forbid proshipping (problematic shipping), radqueers, Charlie Kirk supporters, ICE supporters, MAGA/Trump supporters, Nazi's, transphobes, homophobes, and anyone against neopronouns and xenogenders. If anyone is any of these or is against xenogenders/neopronouns, you are allowed to try to tell them else wise. If they do not listen, do not engage further.

• Question things. Do not be afraid to speak up and use your voice. Your opinion, as long as not harmful, is valid. The only one you may not question is Error. Whatever he says is what goes.

• Regardless of beliefs, you are to respect Error, to listen to whatever he says and not defy him or make him upset. If this happens, apologize profusely and ask for forgiveness.

• Never assume things. It only makes everyone involved look bad.

• Hexes cannot be undone. Whatever hex is done, is done. Only Lecturers, High Ups, certain allowed Shadowbound and Error are able to make irreversible hexes. Regardless what you believe, it cannot be undone due to the power level of Error. You are not allowed to curse or hex Error at all. If you do, your curse or hex will be placed onto you.

The Seven Higher Rules

1. Discrimination is a lethal sin. We forbid any kind of sexism, misogyny or gender-/sexuality-based unfairness.

2. Do as you please, as long as it doesn't harm others. This can be taken in many contexts, however if justified (self-defense, protecting others, etc) it is fine. We understand self-harm, it cannot be controlled.

3. Do not suppress your emotions. This can lead to hurting yourself further. If you need a community member to speak to, contact someone within the community and vent to them only with their permission. Do not trauma-dump or vent-dump.

4. Treat all with kindness. You do not know what walks of life one has been through, and showing even the slightest kindness can help someone in need.

5. Respect wildlife. Protect whatever ecosystems you find. Stay interested in things. Do not litter or trash your local wildlife.

6. Consent is important. If both parties do not consent, then it is a no-go. If both cannot agree with something, do not partake.

7. Do not argue. Whatever Error says is what goes. Whatever a Lecturer says is what goes.

FAQ

Is there a designated holiday like Christmas? Yes, on Error's birthday each year, which is March 6th. Everyone is to give gifts to each other and worship Error the whole week of said birthday, playing music of his choosing and doing whatever he says.

When and how do I start worshipping? Anytime, anywhere!

What is the religion built around? Respecting all, no matter their walk of life. Healing as well.

How do I heal myself? When you feel you have gotten rid of what you feel are negative traits about yourself.

Why do the rules appear to contradict each other? Life is full of contradictions. It happens. This religion is also still fairly new. If they appear to be contradictions, they aren't made to be. Do not assume.
