Listos Lunes
Semester 1 for Spanish 1 & 2
Semester 1 for Spanish 1 & 2
Every Monday I project a paragraph on my whiteboard for a quick read and discuss. For beginning learners, even a simple paragraph can seem overwhelming but by guiding them through ways to break it down (read it a sentence at a time, look for cognates, don't have to know the meaning of every word...) they become more comfortable with reading and are able to earn higher grades on the assessments.
Bellringers are not meant to be challenging and the student should be able to complete it on their own without asking for help. Feel free to mix and match according to your students' levels!
