Welcome Message
Welcome to the 9th CWRU x Tohoku Joint Workshop! We are delighted to be hosting this annual event once again in the beautiful city of Sendai, Japan, especially after the long pause due to the global pandemic.
This workshop aims to foster collaborative discussions and exchanges between Case Western Reserve University and Tohoku University.
About the Event
The Graduate Program for Data Science (GP-DS), Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials (IMRAM), International Joint Graduate Program in Integrated Chemistry (GP-Chem), and Case Western Reserve University invite you to participate in the 9th CWRU-Tohoku Joint Symposium. This event will be held on August 7th and 8th, 2023, on the Tohoku University campus.
The symposium brings together experts from Case Western Reserve University and Tohoku University specializing in data science, chemical biology, biology, and information science to present their research. The symposium will also include poster presentations, providing opportunities for networking with professionals and graduate students and facilitating the exchange of ideas across various research fields.

While a full program will be available closer to the event, attendees can look forward to presentations by eminent speakers from both universities, interactive sessions around the main focus areas, and engaging networking opportunities.

Main Event will be held in GSIS building in Aobayama campus. This campus is a very green campus, surrounded by rich botany and exquisite views.
Our Other Events
GP-Chem will hold a summer school again this year with the keyword "All Chemistry" for exchanges in various fields of chemistry and exchanges with students from overseas. We look forward to your participation.
