Class Rules & Expectations

"I follow three rules: Do the right thing, do the best you can, and always show people you care."

Lou Holtz

Below are the class rules for the classes I teach. The rules are posted in three locations in the classroom and each student is given a copy at the beginning of the school year.

Fox’s Class Expectations

· If Mr. Fox is talking, you are not.

· When the Tardy Bell Rings, if you are not in your seat, you must have a late pass.

When the bell rings, you need to be sitting in your assigned seat. You should immediately begin on the work presented to you on the Promethean board or other assigned work. The school wide tardy policy will be followed.

· If you are not in your seat when the “End Class” bell rings, you will be written up for disobeying.

Please remain in your seat until I have dismissed you. Remember, I dismiss you, not the bell.

· If your phone is out during class, you will be written up for disobeying.

Chromebook rules of JL Mann will be followed . Cell Phones should be turned off and invisible during the class period. If I see or hear your phone it will be taken and given back at the end of the class. A repeat offender will have a referral written for refusal to obey.

· All students have an assigned seat and will remain there unless instructed or given permission to move.

· No food in classroom. All drinks must have a threaded twist on top.

· Put all book bags in book shelf in the back of the room.

· Follow all School and District Policies.
