Cavite State University Junior Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines
Welcome to the Junior Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines, a united community committed to elevating the electronics engineering profession through fostering camaraderie, enhancing technical expertise in the realm of electronics and communication engineering, as well as promoting a culture of scientific innovation and development among our members. This Constitution and By-Laws serve as our guiding principles in pursuing excellence and progress in the field.
The IECEP was organized in 1950 by the group of pioneers in the field of Electronics and Communications in the country. They were, Dean Jose S. Alfonso, who served as the founding president of the organization, Mamerto Buenafe, Fred Carino, Ciriaco Coronel, Jose Grey, Alfredo Gella, Ariston Hulinga, Gonzalo Kamantigue, Albino Lara and Venancio Pineda.
IECEP was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under the name of “Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines, Inc.” The organization still retains its acronym “IECEP.”
Promoting the study of Electronics and Communication Engineering courses and providing essential foundations in the same field for our members. Encouraging interrelation among members and other Electronics and Communication Engineering students to foster mutual knowledge exchange, personal development, and camaraderie. Collaboratively working towards the welfare of our members and the college. Instilling the true spirit of comradeship and cooperation. Striving to enhance the quality and advancement of Electronics and Communications Engineering, not only within Cavite State University but also for the country. Establishing and strengthening linkages with national and international organizations.
The association is committed to the rules, regulations, and directives of the College, as well as the principles of equality, cooperation, and harmony within itself and other organizations. It also strives to recognize and promote the development of individuals' potential and capabilities while maintaining affiliation with the Junior Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (CvSU – Jr. IECEP).
