I am a professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at RIT. My research interests are in galaxy formation and evolution, particularly merging and interacting galaxies.
I am a lecturer in the School of Physics and Astronomy at RIT. My research interests are in galaxy groups.
I am a professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at RIT. My research interests are in soft condensed matter physics and physics education research.
I am a professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at RIT. My research interests are in active black holes in nearby galaxies.
I am a professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at RIT. My research interests are in soft condensed matter and biological physics.
I am a professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at RIT. My research interests are in radiation scattering as a tool for investigating structure and dynamics of condensed matter.
I am a marketing specialist in the Center for Advancing Stem Teaching, Learning, and Evaluation (CASTLE) at RIT.
I am a postdoc researcher at RIT. My work is on galaxy evolution in clusters, focusing on IR emission, star formation, and AGN activity.
Brittany Vanderhoof
I am a second year PhD student. My research interests are in galaxy formation and evolution over cosmic time. I also have a passion for and outreach to support under-represented groups in the STEM fields.
Chi Nguyen
I am a third year PhD student. My research interests are experimental cosmology and near-infrared instrumentation. I also enjoy doing outreach and advocating for better inclusivity and equity in STEM.
Victoria Butler
I am a second year PhD student. My current research project is in the Center for Detectors, where I am working on an instrument designed to measure the singly-ionized carbon abundances during the Epoch of Reionization and Epoch of Peak Star Formation.
Bryanne McDonough
I am a fourth year undergraduate physics major with a minor in math and astronomy. My research is on active galactic nuclei.
Emily Wilson
I am a first-year graduate student at RIT and my interests are in observational astronomy. I also wants to do research in astronomy education and learn about how people learn.
Meaghann Stoelting
I am a second year Master’s student. I study stellar populations in other galaxies in order to further connect stellar evolution with galaxy evolution. I also work at the Strasenburgh Planetarium in Downtown Rochester as a star show presenter.
Ashley Frank
I am a second year PhD student in the Astrophysical Sciences and Technology department at RIT.
Annie Dickson-Vandervelde
I am a second year PhD student at RIT. Currently I am studying the chemical makeup of potentially planet forming disks around young stars. My other passions are advocating for diversity within astrophysics and public outreach.
Monica Rizzo
I am a fourth year undergraduate Physics major, who has been participating in gravitational wave astrophysics research for the past three years. When I am not doing math for fun I enjoys rock climbing and taking care of my various plants.
Isabella Cox
I am a second year undergraduate physics major. I plan on pursuing a research career in astrophysics and currently work with a research group at RIT.
