"Mr. Evan Copley was a Media Studies Professor at Trinity before his dismissal in 1997. The cause for his dismissal was never made public, but there are reasons to believe that his kleptomaniac tendencies are to blame.
One look around his home office would prove that theory correct. Among the odd document, book or artifact "borrowed" from the Trinity archives, there are a few more notable items.
One of which is the original (thought to be missing) 1930 Jules Rimet FIFA trophy. Whether Copley bought the stolen artifact in a shady back alley deal or committed the theft himself, is unknown. Either way it has landed in his possession, as well as numerous other previously "missing" artifacts and artworks." - (Fictitious Character and Scenario)
This Prop is a 1:1 scale replica of the real 1930s Jules Rimet FIFA World Cup Trophy, that was stolen in 1974.
It was constructed with a wooden base and cup, with a wooden dowel going through the middle.
The front was sculpted with Milliput and the back was made from a 3D scan of the front. Printed in black PLA filament and then sanded smooth.
Then the entire trophy was then primed and painted.
