A Mysterious Transmission...

It seems like we’re receiving a transmission here at Custom Magic Discord Headquarters from an unknown source. We’ve never seen anything quite like it. The message goes as follows-

Dearest, most delightful designers,

Hello hello hello, and welcome to my glorious game of games, my shifting show of shows! I am The Maestro, your glamorous game master, and each of you are my unwitting contestants. I come to you, as I shall come many times again, with a challenge! The lights are set, the stage is ready, and thus your performance must finally begin!

Episode 1 - Meet the Cast

For our first foray into the fabulous fun I’ve fetched for you, I request you create a card which characterizes a creature you’ve created- yes, a legendary creature card of your own conception! Instructions of how to deliver your design shall be found within my home away from home within this "Custom Magic" server of yours, the #custom-designs channel. I require you submit your selection by June 25th. My favorite submissions shall be published, alongside pleasant praise, in my next transmission, along with your next challenge. Work hard, for my show’s conclusion will coincide with the bestowment of a prize so grand as to illuminate thee for all time.

Hm- it appears The Maestro has taken up residence within the Custom Magic Discord Server, posting instructions in #announcements on how to submit your designs to the #custom-designs threads for this strange game. We know no more than you do about this enigmatic figure, but it sounds like those who succeed in their contest will be rewarded with a great prize. When asked for clarification on what they meant by all this, they left a message with "If they have Q's, and you lack A's, pain will fill your remaining days" so I'm pretty sure we're supposed to clear some stuff up for them.

Use the $design command on the Custom Magic Discord Server to submit your card. You can only submit one design to this challenge. Submitting a second design will erase your first one, and so on. If you submit multiple designs in one image, your submission will be ignored by The Maestro.
If you are not looking to ⁠showcase your submission in the #Showcase thread, you're not looking for feedback in the #Feedback thread (both found in #custom-designs on the Custom Magic Discord Server), or you're looking to submit your design more discretely, please use the #⁠bot-spam channel. Do not spam the ⁠#custom-designs threads.
While the character featured on your design must be fully original, they may exist within any world, original or otherwise.
Do not worry about skipping this episode. There will be no consequences.
Not totally sure what to put here, they just said "Say that I shall do no harm- I do not want to cause alarm". Presumably they will do no harm. Do not be alarmed.
