Last month, you all were asked to design a card with the name of "Unnerving Illusion," which saw a surprising amount of creative angles! Let's load up that evaluation program to see our winners and what this month's challenge will be.

Hello designers! Another month has passed, which means it is time for your designs to be reviewed. The three designs I like the most will be presented to you here. Enjoy!
Third Place
Unnerving Illusion (Designed by 1ogic)
This effect is kind of hard to put a finger on, but it feels pretty flavorful in its weirdness. Giving the Reflections the self-sacrifice condition is smart so that the boardstate this creates isn’t totally unstoppable, but I do worry a little bit that especially in a multiplayer setting having each player mill a card multiple times a turn is going to have this generate a bit more value than its worth. Still a great concept though, so Unnerving Illusion unnerves its way into a 3rd place finish.
Second Place
Unnerving Illusion (Designed by ThatNoah)
Ooh, this is another flavorful concept working in a similar space. The tokens here get an even more detrimental version of the Illusion ability, which is definitely a good choice to balance out the inherent power of reanimating a creature every turn. Exiling the cards is a good valve as well, so you can’t hit the same thing over and over. In total, this is a great idea with great art and in my opinion pretty reasonable balance, so this Unnerving Illusion illusions its way into 2nd place.
First Place
Unnerving Illusion (Designed by CyberFive)
Again a very similar concept (as I suppose I should have expected from this challenge), but this one toes the line between fancy and functional the best. It acts effectively as a reanimator spell, but adding on an additional element of graveyard synergy means its clear what decks want to play this card and also opens up the possibilities of which creatures you’d want to return (things that scale with power, perhaps?) This is a great design that feels like something I could see in a canon set, and for that this Unnerving Illusion… umm… wins first place.
Now, back to designing. For next month, to celebrate the September season, design a Lesson card or a card with the Learn ability.
Good work, and good luck!
