We all have our own idea of what we consider customer service to be. But what is the true definition of customer service? According to HubSpot.com, customer service is helping customers solve problems, teaching them how to use products, and answering questions. Customer Service is about serving the needs of the customer.
THE IMPORTANCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE
Customer Service is important for the lifeline of the business. Customer Service allows the business and the customer to build a mutually beneficial relationship. Customer Service also helps with the following items:
Customer Retention- retain customers. Customers are more likely to come back and make future purchases
Customer loyalty - recommend your company to others and do word-of-mouth marketing
Reputation Management- brand awareness and differentiation between the competition
Increased Revenue- if customers are happy with your company, they more likely to repeatedly spend money with your business
Competitive Advantage- often, good customer service is why customers will choose one company over another. For example, Company A has a cheaper product but bad customer service, but Company B has excellent customer service and a much more expensive product. Customers will choose Company B, due to their excellent customer service.

We want to show appreciation for our customers and ensure they know that their concerns are heard and that we care, and can resolve any issues that may arise.
