A short intro meeting is always free.  By Video or in person. 

Do I need Home Plans ?

No. You can come to us with anything from a general idea to a completed set of plans. We can guide you through the design process and connect you with our trusted design partners to create a home that fits your vision, land, and budget. 

Do I need to own land?

No. If you don’t already own land, we can assist you with the process. Through our licensed Real Estate Broker, we can help you identify and evaluate properties that fit your goals, budget, and the type of home you want to build.

Finding the right land is an important part of a successful custom build, and having real estate and construction experience working together can help you make a more informed decision before you purchase.

What is the cost to build?

Because every custom home is designed around your vision, your land, and your specific project, there is no one-size-fits-all price or standard fee.

Whenever possible, we prefer a flat-price approach rather than cost-plus pricing. This gives you a clearer understanding of your overall investment upfront and allows us to establish expectations before construction begins.

Changes or upgrades made during construction are handled separately, so you stay informed and in control of your budget throughout the build.

What to Expect

Design, land preparation, and permitting typically take 3–4 months. Once we break ground, our goal is to have you in your new home within 8 months.

Every home and property is different, so timelines can vary. As a general rule, we recommend planning on about one year from design to move-in.

We understand that delays cost both you and us time and money. That’s why we make every effort to plan ahead, coordinate our trades, and keep your home moving forward throughout the entire building process.

What is the typical minimum budget? 

Cherry Tree Builds focuses on quality custom homes rather than entry-level or production-style construction. Because every home and property is different, there is no set minimum price.

As a general guideline, most of our custom home projects begin around $500,000, not including land. Final pricing will depend on the size of the home, site conditions, design, finishes, and features you choose.

Do you handle smaller projects?

Yes. While custom homes are our primary focus, we also take on select projects that are a good fit for our team. We especially enjoy outdoor living spaces, decks, and targeted remodels where we can make a meaningful impact on the home.
