Steve Rosales is a member of the Pascua Yaqui Nation from Southern Arizona and the Kora Huichol Nation from Nayarit, Mexico. He was born and raised on the reservation in Tucson, Arizona and also raised in Los Angeles. He is also an alumnus of California State University, Dominguez Hills.
