Within the Naval Officer Candidate School are multiple programs for Officer Candidates to participate in to learn and gain more information regarding their upcoming role as an officer.
The following are the programs we have for officer candidates within the Navy.
The Enlisted Commissioning Program is the first program all naval officer candidates are required to do in order to progress further within the Officer Candidate School, there are a total of 2 phases in where officer candidates will be given vital information and tested on basic information they should know beforehand.
After passing the ECP, officer candidates will need to obtain a scholarship through a scholarship program which is harder and stricter to pass and will stand as the last challenge one must complete to achieve their rank equivalents.
After successfully passing the Enlisted Commissioning Program fully, Naval officer candidates will be inducted into the NROTC (Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps), where they will continue their education through phases which provide them with more detailed and specific information on the Department Of Navy. After going through educational phases, candidates will be put through a final examination which will test them with the information they've learned throughout the Officer Candidate School.
