How Cold Is It?

Practice reading thermometers from the Arendelle weather report. 

After completing this activity, try one of these extension activities: 

• Graph the temperatures using a line graph or bar graph. 

• Compare the temperatures on the paper to today's temperature and write comparison statements- "Today's temperature is hotter than thermometer A but colder than thermometer B." 

• Use a thermometer to measure the temperature of your classroom, a glass of water, a cup of coffee, etc.

Provide students with the choice board to explore different types of geometric snowflake creations. 

This choice board is suited best for students in grades 3-5. For students in grade k-2, review the choice board and pick 1 or 2 activities that would best suit your students.
