Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Currency Moment application ("App") operated by Okan Turan ("we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, installing, or using Currency Moment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
Currency Moment is a free, ad-supported mobile application that provides currency exchange rate information. The App allows users to view exchange rates, convert amounts between currencies, and view historical rate charts.
2. Disclaimer of Financial Advice
2.1 Currency Moment is an informational tool ONLY. The exchange rates, conversions, and charts displayed in the App are provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
2.2 The App does NOT provide financial, investment, trading, or tax advice. Nothing in the App should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any currency.
2.3 Exchange rates displayed in the App are indicative mid-market rates sourced from third-party providers (including the European Central Bank and commercial data providers). These rates may differ from the actual rates offered by banks, currency exchange offices, or other financial institutions.
2.4 You should always verify exchange rates with your financial institution before making any transactions.
3. Accuracy of Data
3.1 While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date exchange rate information, we make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any data displayed in the App.
3.2 Exchange rates are updated periodically (approximately once per hour during market hours) and may not reflect real-time market conditions.
3.3 Data is sourced from third-party providers, and we are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or delays in the data provided by these sources.
3.4 Historical rate data is provided for informational purposes and should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions.
4. Acceptable Use
When using Currency Moment, you agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, APIs, or connected networks
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the App
- Redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit the App's data without authorization
- Use the App for high-frequency trading or any activity that could overload our data providers
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 The App, including its design, code, features, graphics, and content, is owned by Okan Turan and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
5.2 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
5.3 You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.
6. Advertisements
6.1 Currency Moment is a free application supported by advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
6.2 By using the App, you agree to the display of advertisements within the App.
6.3 We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Interacting with advertisements is at your own risk, and any transactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
7.2 We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the App
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the exchange rate data
- Financial losses incurred as a result of relying on information provided by the App
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any interruption or cessation of the App's services
7.3 In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero for the free version).
8. Third-Party Services
8.1 Currency Moment relies on third-party services for exchange rate data and advertising. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services.
8.2 Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
9. Availability and Updates
9.1 We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times. The App may be subject to temporary downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.
9.2 We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time without prior notice.
9.3 We recommend keeping the App updated to the latest version for the best experience and security.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
