Under the Call of “Partnerships for Cooperation in the fields of education and training and youth”, PENDYW (Promoting Equality and non-discrimination in youth work) is an Erasmus+ supported Project aimed at fostering youth participation, fighting discriminations and social exclusion towards most vulnerable categories, such as ethnic and religious minorities, LGBTQ+ persons, youth with disability and young refugees. More in particular, the project emphasises how discrimination could affect young people’s health, employment opportunities and their political engagement, advocating for youth involvement in decision-making. Moreover, PENDYW seeks to strengthen youth trainers’ action in promoting equality and non-discrimination, in the light of post-COVID-19 changes and new challenges in the Youth Work field.
The project plans to assess, synthetize and present the experiences from the youth field relevant to non-discrimination, equality and inclusion.
Based on these outcomes, youth work providers will be strengthened to provide improved quality of youth work activities directed protecting the rights of vulnerable groups. At the same time, young leaders experiencing discrimination and exclusion will be empowered to take part in the lives of their associations, local participation structures and European level platforms.
The project is coordinated by YEU international and the Project Consortium includes Culture Goes Europe (CGE) from Germany, Center for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) from North Macedonia, MOJU from Portugal and Youth Express Network (Y-E-N) from France, together with CCF.

The exhibition All our tears was supported by the association Curiosite after it was internally selected by the Arts Club of the Council of Europe’s Amicale. CCF provided logistical support and venue for the visitors from the Balkans, and organised a visit to the OFAJ - Franco-German Youth Cooperation Office.
This unique exhibition is dedicated to the stories of victims of wars in the region. The goal of the installation is to acquaint the general public with the stories and make a plea for support for the victims and other affected groups in the region in their pursuit of truth and justice.
The exhibition consists of 34 original photographs, taken by four photographers in various places in Serbia, Kosovo and North Macedonia. The photographers: Arbnora Memeti, Nake Batev, Atdhe Mulla and Borislav Pešić.
The stories represent several aspects of the wars in the former Yugoslavia - family photos of missing persons, sites of atrocities, mass graves, internally-displaced people and memorials, but also the lingering consequences of the conflict that are still felt today, showing all the tragedy and complexity of the war.
The process of creation is done in cooperation with associations of families of the missing and deceased from Serbia and Kosovo, as well as families of deceased civilians and IDPs from North Macedonia, with the aim to open space for new opportunities and joint initiatives when it comes to building peace and reconciliation in the region.
The exhibition is part of the project “Strengthening Inclusive Victim Voices, Transforming Narratives” funded by the EU, and implemented by the consortium consisting of Peace Action (N. Macedonia), Civic Initiatives (Serbia), Integra (Kosovo) and New Social Initiative (Kosovo), with the support of PAX (The Netherlands) and ICTJ (USA).
