Missions

Agents completing at least 6 of the official 2022 Mission Day missions between 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM local time will receive a +1 increment to their Mission Day medal. To easily find MD missions, change the mission filter in your scanner from "All" to "NIA.'

We've got 18 official MD missions to choose from when completing your 6 or more for the Mission Day badge. We've tried to arrange them so that it's easy to get your 6, whether you prefer to do them all quickly on foot in one location, or you'd rather bounce around town seeing the sights as you go. This map (also embedded below) can help you plan your approach to making the most of CU Mission Day!

The map includes recommendations about which missions may be completable from a vehicle, but pay attention to traffic conditions - several streets in downtown Champaign are one-way, for example. We strongly recommend that you do as many missions as possible on foot - you'll experience our town at its best if you do. It's time to move, agent!

There are basically two clusters of 6 missions each, one centered in downtown Champaign, and the other on the University of Illinois campus. The remaining 6 missions are scattered at locations around Urbana and Champaign (But don't overlook these missions just because they're spread out. They feature some of the best scenery and most portal-dense parks in CU. Your Explorer and Pioneer badges will thank you!).
