What You Need to Know
We typically try to align the date of the sale with the opening date of the Cumberland Farmers' Market, which takes place the first weekend in June.
We do not typically plan for rain dates as the Market still runs even if it rains. Those who sign up will be contacted to determine next steps if the weather looks terrible.
For the map: The only information that will be visible will be your address to put on the map, although new for this year, there is an option to highlight special items for sale or themes for your garage sale to better entice buyers.
The organizer assumes no liability; their responsibilies are limited to the coordination of a community effort, setting up the map, and getting the word out.

Offer Payment Options – Have plenty of change and consider digital payment options.
Create a Welcoming Atmosphere – Play light music, offer refreshments, and be friendly.
Be Prepared to Haggle – Expect buyers to negotiate and set prices accordingly.
Have a Plan for Leftovers – Donate unsold items or list them online for extra sales.
