My name is Theo Tweeddale, I’m an artist and educator who holds a BFA in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University School for the Arts. I have dynamic experiences teaching students of all ages, in museums, community-based initiatives, and public school settings. My personal art practice spans ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, and printmaking. I’m drawn to art education due to children’s curiosity, innovative thinking, and diverse, engaging perspectives. I feel art education empowers students with collaborative skills, cultural fluency, and creative inquiry.
