At the VCU Institute for Contemporary Art, I co-developed a series of workshops that employed student artists and educated the local community on a variety of art forms. 

As an active contributor to the field of art education, I'm committed to lifelong learning, community building, and professional development.

While attending VCU, I was co-president of my NAEA student chapter. I developed, organized, and lead an information session to university students and pre-service educators on licensure and teaching, which featured VCU alum as guest speakers.
