Please note that unless otherwise stated, public classes are held at The Santa Margarita Lion's Hall on I Street, are capped at 8 participants on a first-come, first-serve basis; payment will be required to reserve your spot.

Kick off the holiday season with a festive evening of cake decorating! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to create elegant buttercream wreath designs on an 8" cake. We’ll start with a demo showcasing a variety of seasonal looks—like a warm Fall wreath with yellows, oranges, and reds, and a contemporary winter version in blues, silvers, and golds. Then, you’ll decorate your own cake using classic piping tools and techniques. Perfect for beginners and experienced decorators alike, this class combines creativity, color, and celebration—just in time for the holidays!

Join us for a fun and festive decorating class perfect for families, friends, or anyone young at heart! We’ll start with a short demo, then you’ll decorate your own adorable 6" Turkey Cake. Learn to pipe colorful buttercream “feathers” using easy techniques that are great for little (and big) hands alike. Designed for pairs or small groups, this class is ideal for an adult and child decorating together or two adults looking for a playful holiday project. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All skill levels welcome!

Celebrate the red, white, and blue in the most delicious way! Build and fill a vanilla cake bursting with fresh strawberries and blueberries, then decorate it with festive buttercream piping, edible “fireworks,” and sprinkles. You’ll also see a demo on how to create a hidden American flag design inside the cake — a showstopper for your holiday table!

Do you already know how to frost your cake, but want to take your skills to the next level? This 2 hour class focuses on improving border and flourish piping, writing with frosting, rosettes, and full roses.
*Note- this class is capped at 12 participants, and focuses solely on piping, participants will be working on practice boards, not cake.

Join us for a fun and creative 1.5-hour class where kids and their favorite adult (parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, etc.) team up to decorate cupcakes! Learn how to make frosting look like fur while decorating adorable monsters and animals. Each child will take home 6 fabulously furry cupcakes.

In this hands-on 3-hour class, you'll learn to make both sweet and savory tarts from scratch. After a demo on pastry cream, you'll roll out and bake mini sweet tart shells and a large savory tart shell. While they bake, you'll whip up a flavorful goat cheese filling, then finish the class by assembling and garnishing beautiful mini fruit tarts.
*Note- Participants will leave with four miniature fruit tarts and one 8" savory goat cheese tart.

In this fun and flavorful 3-hour class, you and a partner will learn to make filled pasta from scratch (with a demo on pasta rolling), mix up a classic vinaigrette, and create a compound butter for garlic bread. You'll also prepare a delicious tiramisu to take home.

Team Building, La Cuisinière Style
Looking for a creative, hands-on way to connect with your team? La Cuisinière offers fun and memorable team-building workshops designed to inspire collaboration, spark creativity, and satisfy your sweet tooth. From cupcake decorating parties to friendly frosting challenges, each experience includes a live demo, guided activity, and time to ask questions—all in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Workshops can be hosted at an offsite location or brought directly to your workplace—just reach out for details and availability!

1. Cupcake Decorating Party – starting at $50/person
Each guest receives 6 cupcakes and learns a variety of decorating techniques using buttercream—swirls, rosettes, two-tone piping, and simple floral designs. After a demo and guided practice, participants decorate their own mini sets to box up and take home. Great for all skill levels and a colorful, creative way to connect!
2. Buttercream Board + Bloom Demo – starting at $50/person
This colorful, hands-on activity blends buttercream artistry with the charcuterie trend. Participants learn to pipe basic rosettes, swirls, and textures, then use frosting, cookies, fruit, and other goodies to build a stunning, sharable buttercream board. Includes a live demo and take-home box for any leftovers.
3. Sprinkle & Swirl Cupcake Bar – starting at $55/person
This lighthearted, hands-on cupcake decorating class is perfect for all experience levels. After a quick demo on piping basics and swirl techniques, each participant decorates 6 cupcakes using an assortment of colorful sprinkles, piping tips, and mix-and-match toppings. A great low-pressure activity with lots of creative freedom and fun!
4. Mini Cake Decorating – starting at $70/person
Each participant gets their own 6" mini cake to fill, frost, and decorate with instructor guidance. We’ll cover stacking, smoothing, and simple buttercream decorating techniques, and you’ll go home with a fully decorated mini masterpiece.
5. Cake Wars Challenge – starting at $75/person
Split into teams and compete in a friendly cupcake decorating challenge! After a short demo, groups will brainstorm a theme, mix colors, and decorate their Cake under a time limit. Finished sets are presented and judged (for fun!)—with plenty of laughs and a box of treats to take home.
