Effective date: 24/03/2026
Cue Tube (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Cue Tube collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Cue Tube app.
Cue Tube allows users to import supported video links, organise videos into folders, create bookmarks, and use playback tools such as pause, speed control, and cueing features.
Cue Tube is designed to collect as little personal information as possible.
Cue Tube may store information you create within the app, such as:
imported video links
folder names
bookmarks
playback preferences
subscription status
We may receive limited technical information needed for the app to function, such as:
device type
operating system version
app version
crash data
diagnostic information
If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your full payment details such as credit card numbers. We may receive limited information from Apple, such as whether you have an active subscription.
We use information only to:
provide and operate Cue Tube
save your folders, bookmarks, and settings
enable app features
verify subscription access
improve app stability and performance
diagnose crashes or technical issues
Cue Tube may access or display third-party content, such as videos provided through external services including YouTube links supplied by the user.
Cue Tube does not claim ownership of third-party content. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to access and use any third-party content they import into the app.
Third-party services may apply their own terms, privacy policies, and advertising practices.
Cue Tube itself does not serve its own third-party advertising network ads unless otherwise stated.
However, third-party video content viewed through external platforms may include advertising or promotional material controlled by those third parties.
Your app data, such as folders, bookmarks, imported links, and settings, may be stored:
locally on your device
in Apple services if you use device-level backup or sync features enabled by Apple
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may share limited information only when necessary:
with Apple for subscriptions and app distribution
with service providers who help us operate the app, such as crash reporting or analytics providers, if used
when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
Cue Tube is not directed to children under 13 without parental knowledge and supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a way that requires separate consent under applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address it.
Depending on how Cue Tube is configured, you may be able to:
delete imported links, folders, and bookmarks from within the app
uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data
manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings
control Apple permissions and privacy settings on your device
We keep data only as long as needed to operate the app and provide its features, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Locally stored data may remain on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
We take reasonable steps to protect information used by Cue Tube. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you use Cue Tube outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where Apple or our service providers operate, subject to applicable laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of Cue Tube after changes means you accept the updated policy.

If Cue Tube:
has no account system
stores data only on device
uses Apple subscriptions only
has no custom analytics
has no custom ad SDK
then you can simplify the policy further and make it cleaner.
“Cue Tube does not require users to create an account and does not directly collect personally identifying information such as name, address, or payment card details.”
Check these before you paste it into App Store Connect or your site:
Whether you use Firebase, analytics, crash reporting, or any SDKs.
Whether any app data syncs through iCloud or your own server.
Whether you collect email addresses or support messages in-app.
Whether YouTube content is opened through a web view or another method.
Whether the app is intended for children.
Based on what you’ve described so far, your policy should probably state:
no direct account creation
no direct payment processing by you
subscription handled by Apple
user-imported third-party video links
app data like folders/bookmarks saved locally
no sale of data
