Scanned Archive

This photo album includes virtually the entire library of scanned clippings and photos that have been found at the current church location. Most of these items were found in the back closet of Pilgrim House in the period 20 11 - 2014. In particular this album includes the images that make up the three primary collections in CUCC history:

• the 1959 scrapbook assembled at United Church of Raleigh

• The 1981 scrapbook at the time of the "100th Anniversary Celebration"

• The "Remembrances" recorded on cassette tape by Anne Elleman in 1981 and later transcribed to print via typewriter by Susie Sapp

The three sources mentioned are available separately in this website in a more organized fashion than is possible in the album. Most of the other albums shown on t his page consist of pictures from the digital era, i.e. the are photos that never existed in print form and therefore did not involve scanning.
