Every scouting unit is “owned” by an organization. Cub Scout Pack #3374 (often simply referred to as Pack #374) is chartered by Nativity of Mary Catholic Church & School in Bloomington, MN. All local youth are welcome; you do not need to be a parishioner or student at Nativity to apply. Nativity of Mary has had a Cub Scout Pack since 1955. We are part of the Northern Star Scouting Council, District N.

See the Events page for details on our typical meeting structure. Meetings are often on-site at Nativity of Mary but may also be held off-site. One parent or guardian must stay with the Scout for the duration of each Pack or Den meeting (no drop-offs). Siblings are always welcome.
All Cub Scout leaders must complete Youth Protection Training (YPT) as well as position-specific online training. Annually, each Scout is required to complete exercises with their parent/guardian related to child abuse prevention and online safety. You can read more about the BSA's youth protection and adult leadership policies here.
Each Scout must work with his or her Den and family to accomplish various requirements and electives to earn a rank. (For a quick glance at requirements by rank, see the graphic on this page.) Most requirements are met during the course of den meetings, but some homework may be required. Individual Scouts’ achievements are typically acknowledged at the following Pack meeting, with the corresponding belt loops/pins/badges being handed out.
If you'd like, you can follow along with your Scout's progress towards rank in the Scouting app. It can be found in the App Store and has a red icon with a fleur-de-lis.
