Local BSA Camps:
During the summer, many of our Scouts attend either Day or Resident (overnight) camps. Fundraising and scholarship opportunities can help cover the cost of these amazing experiences.
Goshen Scout Reservation is located in the wilderness of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and has at its center the beautiful, 450 acre Lake Merriweather. Also has a Facebook page with current events and news. This is a great camp for older Cubs who are ready to camp overnight for several days.
Camp William B. Snyder Located in Prince William County Virginia, Camp William B. Snyder encompasses 350-acres including a managed wetland. Also has a Facebook page with current events and news. This camp is closer to home and their long-weekend overnight camp is a terrific first camp for any Scout to attend.
Summer Day Camp & Twilight Camp NCAC offers Summer Day Camp and Twilight Camp opportunities annually. This program is a phenomenal opportunity for Scouts of any age to hone a variety of skills over the course of a week; camp runs 9am to 4pm. Many Scouts from our Pack will attend the session at Gunston Hall in Lorton, VA together, however individual Scouts are certainly welcome to attend other local sessions.
