Your involvement is key to a successful Cub Scouting program. Pack 67 requires volunteer support from every parent /guardian. We know you want to contribute, and there's a place for everyone. Every parent has their personal genius - what is yours? Your skills and time are invaluable.

Event Assistants: Setup/cleanup at meetings or events.
Activity Support: Help Den Leaders with crafts, games, or group supervision.
Logistics & Supplies: Assist with shopping, transport, or inventory organization.
Uniform Management: Manage recycled uniforms or distribute Pack t-shirts.
Communication Support: Create Sign-Up Geniuses or take meeting notes.
New Family Welcomers: Greet new families and prepare welcome packs.
Fundraising Support: Assist with bake sales or other fundraising events.
Perfect for flexible, as-needed, or one-off contributions. No formal Scouting America registration is required.

Volunteer Roles Inc. Trained Leader
Registering as an adult in your Pack lets others know that you are willing to go beyond just helping others but willing to take on responsibilities in the Pack. Scouting America requires a registered female leader at every Pack event or den meeting with girls.
To serve in a volunteer position in Scouting requires an adult to register with Scouting America and the following:

SAVE RECEIPT.Complete CA training requirements.
Includes 2 hr. online training; Background Consent Form; and Live Scan
Please be sure to select the "Western Los Angeles County" council for the required Live Scan form. We are NOT the "Greater Los Angeles Area" council.
Keep and submit your Live Scan receipt - the Pack will reimburse you!
Take the SYT training Formerly known as YPT, now it's SYT). It will also be available under your Learning Plans.
File for reimbursement from treasurer using this Google Form.
Not all volunteers work directly with youth. Many serve in positions that support those who do.

Leader Roles
For parents foundational to shaping the Pack's future through program delivery and youth guidance. Require formal registration and specialized training.
Cubmaster or Assistant Cubmaster: Guides overall Pack program and leads monthly meetings.
Den Leader & Assistant Den Leader: Lead, guide, and mentor a group of Cub Scouts within a larger pack.
Committee Chair: Responsible for overall administration, oversight, and support of the pack program.

Pack Committee
Every pack has a pack committee, which consists of at least three members (committee, secretary, treasurer). By handling administrative and support tasks, the pack committee allows the Cubmaster, den leaders, and their assistants to focus on working directly with the Cub Scouts.
We meet once a month via Zoom.
Camping Committee
Camping Committee
We go camping as a pack twice a year - and us parents help make this happen by working together! This committee selects the camp site, organizes our schedule of activities, and menu planning. The committee relies on the help of other parents to shop and transport food. We also work together to cook + clean.
We are also recruiting for a COFFEE SUBCOMMITTEE, with a Chief Barista.

Scouting America offers convenient volunteer training. Learn about Cub Scouting and quality programs. All leaders must complete Youth Protection training; all parents are encouraged to.
Online Training: Access content at my.Scouting.org. Enter your member number for credit if taken before registration.
Local Council Training: Available regularly if online isn't feasible. More info: www.scouting.org/training.
