You will also pay dues to Scouting America and our local Council (total: $185) to support general liability insurance, staff, resources and support.
Pay your Pack 67 dues ($140, good for 12 mos. from your registration date) for awards/ranks, returning scout supplies, adult leadership registration costs, supplies, and Pack administration.
After registering, you'll get a welcome email from our Cubmaster with your New Family Letter, den leader introduction, photo waiver, and invitation to our private groups on Facebook and the Band app.
Scouts have two types of uniforms. Class A uniforms are for pack meetings and public outings. "Class B" uniforms (pack T-shirt, included in dues) are for casual occasions.
Class A
A full "Class A" cub scout uniform costs around $175-200 (hat, neckerchief, slide, patched shirt, shorts/pants, belt, socks, handbook). A donated item bin helps offset costs.
For Tigers through Webelos. Please buy a Class-A navy blue uniform shirt and belt.
For Arrow of Light: Please buy the Class-A tan uniform shirt. This is the same uniform that Troop Scouts wear, so it can be used in the future.
For all scouts: The pack provides a den neckerchief/slide.
Uniforms can be bought online at scoutshop.com or at the Valley Scout Shop: 16525 Sherman Way Van Nuys, CA 91406 (818.781.1296).
You will need these iron-ons: Western Los Angeles Area Council patch; "67" pack numerals; World Heritage patch; Den number patch (ask Den Leader)
You may also find hand-me down or used uniforms and apply the patches and numbers yourself.
TIP: Score the pants / shorts at places that sell school uniforms - much cheaper!
Class B:
This is the T-shirt uniform. We will provide this to you at your first meeting. Please note your uniform size when registering and paying Pack 67 dues.

Once you join, we will add you to our FB and Band groups. Each den has its own adventure schedule and decides on its communication (could be SMS, WhatsApp, etc.). Regular attendance helps Cubs earn awards!
You can also add the Pack's Google Calendar to your own.
Every adult needs to take the Safeguarding Youth Training annually. This helps keep Scouts safe and enforces rules while working with youth. Complete at scouting.org/youthprotection
