Fundraising Can Be Fun!
Pack dues are required for the year so that items given and activities completed are funded. BSA does not fund activities. Pack committee votes on the budget and spending of items. Fundraising also supports communication skills for the scouts. They learn to speak clearly, properly and comfortably with adults and others. As well, they are out in the community meeting and interacting with stakeholders in their local community.
Dues can be fully paid through fundraising. 2024-2025 year, each scout goal will be $300 profit. Most of our scouts reached their goal in only 2-3 selling opportunities in the early fall. Several opportunities are provided for the scouts to fund raise with the pack or on their own. We have an excellent relationship with Rudy's on Litchfield where we sell popcorn and other items. As well, we do Holiday wreaths in the fall.

Complete the Youth Application
Approx. $165 for new scouts. (Due at registration set forth by Scouting America)
Approximately, $72 BSA Youth Registration, $63 Grand Canyon Council Fees, $25 new scout registration and insurance and $5 administrative fee. All application must be submitted online.
Paid to the Pack: $300 for Pack Dues paid throughout the year.
Pack Dues can be raised entirely through fundraising and no additional out of pocket funds are necessary after registration.
Additional Fundraising above the goal is an option for fee payment if that's a need.

Families meet their pack dues goals on average in 2 sales evenings at Rudy's or some families meet their yearly dues goal with only online sales! Raising your pack dues is so easy!
