Welcoming New Scouts For 2025-2026
Locations vary each year. Older Dens can do additional camp outs to help earn badges.
We have camped at locations such as Heard Scout Pueblo, White Tanks, Picacho Peak, Double V Scout Ranch, Kiwanis Bradshaw Prescott, R-C and Camp Geronimo.
Spring camping will usually occur in March or April depending on the location and weather.
Spring and Fall Camping is always family camp and siblings and all family are welcomed.
Blue and Gold banquets are a tradition within packs, celebrating the leaders and parents who volunteer to make Cub Scouting fantastic. It is also to celebrate Scouting's Birthday. It brings families together for an evening of fun and cheer. We celebrated our February Pack Meeting with the Blue and Gold Banquet; Scouting's Birthday.
Den are held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church located at 400 S. Old Litchfield Road, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340. Some den meetings are outings to off site location, as well. Den meetings are 2 Mondays a month. During den meetings, the scouts meet with just their grade level and work on rank requirements and small group activities.
Pack meetings will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church located at 400 S. Old Litchfield Road, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340. Pack meetings will be held typically the last Monday of the month or during an activity already planned from 6pm-7:15pm. The whole Pack meets together to celebrate awards and accomplishments as a large group.
The pinewood derby is a racing event for non-powered, unmanned miniature cars. Pinewood derbies are often run by chapters of the Cub Scouts program of Scouting America. With the help of adults, Scouts build their own cars from wood, usually from kits containing a block of pine wood, plastic wheels, and metal axles.

Our Rain gutter Regatta usually takes place in June as a family event, inviting new scouts to see the fun we have. Scouts assemble their boats and decorate to have a little friendly competition during a fun summer event.
Conducting rocket academies is a long-standing event for many Scouting packs, troops, and camps. These events are a good way to showcase the broad spectrum of activities and learning associated with Scouting, and can educate participants and attendees about the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) program. Scouting.org has published several articles about rocket academies.
This is a beginnng of year welcoming open house for potential scouts and returning families. It showcases our Pack and what we have to offer. This event also provides a time for everyone to catch up from the summer.
