Mission Statement

The mission of Scouting America, formerly known as the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives. The organization does this by instilling values based on the Scout Oath and Law, which include being trustworthy, loyal, helpful, and kind. The BSA's program also aims to develop character, citizenship, and personal fitness
