Den meetings are small group groups of scouts, usually 8 or less. Scouts within the Den are usually the same age or in the same grade.
Each Den has a leaders ands sometimes Assistant Leaders. The Leaders follow the BSA curriculum and plan meetings, outings, and activities to help scouts move forward in earning their adventure and rank advancements.
Scouts have fun while learning and challenging themselves.
Typically at a Pack meetings, all scouts and their families come together to participate in the evening's events.
We start with a flag ceremony that includes the Pledge, Scout Oath, and Scout Law. Scouts are recognized for their achievements for the month and receive their adventure loops. We have announcements (just wait till you hear what happens when that word is said). Sometimes individual Dens will make presentations to the Pack. We discuss the Scout Law trait of the month and usually have an activity around that focus.
Yes. Cub Scout Pack 614 is a family unit. All members of your family can attend Pack events.
