Interested in joining Pack 370? If so, the necessary steps are:
Fill out an official application form
Pay fees online
Complete a BSA health form
To express interest, please fill out the webform to the left and you will be contacted by one of our volunteer leaders about how to become a member.
If you're reading this in summer or early fall, we probably have an information session coming soon. Check the calendar page for details.
No new registration is required for the new year, but you will need to submit a new health form before camping, and pay dues in November. as described below.
Pack 370 uses online application forms. Our direct link is here. Note that you will have to make a scouting.org account before you can apply. It usually takes up to a few days to be processed and for us to get back to you.
You can also use a paper form. These are available at any pack meeting and should be turned in to a volunteer leader, preferably the Recruiting Chair, Committee Chair, or Cubmaster. You can also print one out at this link then bring it to a pack meeting with you to turn it in. Please do not submit paper applications directly to the Atlanta Area Council as that can introduce delays.
As a part of your application the BSA will ask you to pay their national annual dues. As of 2024, they are $85 per scout. These are collected by the BSA and do not go to Pack 370. Our pack collects calendar-year-based dues every November. More detail is below.
Download the fillable pdf listed for "All Scouting Events" here. (This is only sections A and B of the longer form used for summer camps.)
We recommend filling this out electronically, saving a copy, then emailing to pack370healthforms@gmail.com. You can also bring paper copies to a pack meeting and turn them in to the Cubmaster or Committee Chair.
This is an annual form, so it needs to be completed for every scout every year. Additionally, any family members attending an overnight camping trip with the pack need a completed health form on file with the pack prior to the event.
To fund the Pack 370 program, we request Annual Dues be paid by each scout. Your Pack Dues pay for activities, awards, and supplies for the Pack, along with annual member items (neckerchief and handbook).
Dues are collected in November. Dues for 2025 are $140 for scouts in grades K-4, and $65 for 5th grades to cover them through their spring cross-over to a Troop.
To make a payment, please follow instructions here.
Pack 370 wants all Scouts to be able to participate, and scholarships are available - please let our Committee Chair or Treasurer know if you’re interested in learning more.
Our Pack relies on our families. We always have volunteer roles in many shapes and sizes. To help us understand if there is a way you can support the pack, please complete this survey. You can also always just ask your den leader or another leader if there is some way you can help.
