Group members discuss and analyse subjects such as energy generation and storage, travel and transportation, climate change, pollution, use of plastics and related topics as well as considering the actions that individuals and communities can take.

Our meetings are on the third Tuesday of each month (except April, August and December) starting at 10.00am and finishing around 11.00 to 11.15.

Some meetings will feature an online ‘expert’ lecture plus follow-up discussion; others will focus on a specific topic plus of course general discussion and analysis. The group plans to meet via the Zoom teleconferencing system in the long term - this is the most environmentally friendly option and also saves travel time for members, as well as making cross-group cooperation easier.
